From moral mapping to a hybrid framework for corporate local responsibility (color): Integrating multilingual electronic brainwriting and Intuitionistic Fuzzy AHP

dc.description.abstract Corporate Responsibility (CR) faces an accountability dilemma in which insufficient measurement techniques fail to satisfy growing societal demands. A transparent and participative evaluation approach is urgently required since mainstream paradigms, such as opaque ESG ratings and firm-centric CSR reports, often overlook local context and authentic stakeholder voice. This thesis addresses this gap by first investigating the theoretical foundations of CR through moral mapping, and then defining and testing the Corporate Local Responsibility (COLOR) model, which is operationalized using a novel mixed-methodology. This novel framework introduces and integrates the anonymous multilingual customizable structured electronic brainwriting (mCSEB) technique for stakeholder-driven criteria generation with the Intuitionistic Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (IF-AHP) for transparent, weighted evaluation, which has been verified empirically in the Turkish textile industry. The results show that this approach effectively identifies performance gaps that conventional methodologies are unable to reveal through transforming multilayered stakeholder inputs into an intuitive and useful quantitative score. Overall, the study puts forward a reproducible methodology that converts CR measurement from a passive, expert-driven judgment to a collaborative governance instrument, therefore aiming to offer a more credible and efficient method for holding companies accountable for their actions.
dc.description.abstractKurumsal Sorumluluk (KS), yetersiz ölçüm tekniklerinin artan toplumsal talepleri karşılamada başarısız olduğu bir hesap verebilirlik ikilemiyle karşı karşıyadır. Ana akım paradigmalar, örneğin şeffaf olmayan ESG derecelendirmeleri ve şirket merkezli KSS raporları, sıklıkla yerel bağlamı ve gerçek paydaş sesini göz ardı ettiğinden, şeffaf ve katılımcı bir değerlendirme yaklaşımına acilen ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Bu tez, öncelikle ahlaki haritalama yoluyla KS'nin teorik temellerini araştırarak ve Kurumsal Yerel Sorumluluk (COLOR) modelini tanımlayıp test ederek, ardından yeni bir karma metodoloji kullanılarak bu modeli işlevselleştirerek bu boşluğu gidermektedir. Bu yeni metodoloji, paydaş odaklı kriter üretimi için anonim çok dilli özelleştirilebilir yapılandırılmış elektronik yazılı beyin fırtınası (çÖYEB) tekniğini, şeffaf ve ağırlıklı değerlendirme için Sezgisel Bulanık Analitik Hiyerarşi Süreci (SB-AHS) ile birleştirerek, Türkiye tekstil sektöründe ampirik olarak doğrulanmıştır. Sonuçlar, bu yaklaşımın çok katmanlı paydaş taleplerini anlaşılabilir ve kullanışlı nicel bir puana dönüştürerek geleneksel metodolojilerin ortaya koyamadığı performans boşluklarını etkili bir şekilde belirlediğini göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışma, CR ölçümünü pasif, uzman odaklı bir yargıdan işbirlikçi bir yönetişim aracına dönüştüren tekrarlanabilir bir metodoloji ortaya koymakta ve böylece şirketleri eylemlerinden sorumlu tutmak için daha güvenilir ve verimli bir yöntem sunmayı hedeflemektedir.
