Özet

The scope of the recycling and reusing activities that are being carried out after the Second World War to eradicate the construction and demolition waste from the debris continues. Nowadays, because of the recycling works with advanced machinery and equipment, recycled concrete aggregates obtained from the construction and demolition waste concrete find a wide usage area. One of the utilization area of the recycled concrete aggregates is the using of these aggregates in the new concrete production. In the literature, it has been observed that recycled concrete aggregates have a significant impact on the concrete compressive strength, elasticity modulus and stress-strain relationship of new concrete. From this point, it is obvious that the technical statements for natural concretes cannot be used for recycled aggregate concrete. In this study, a new stress-strain model is proposed based on the ratio of recycled aggregate to admixture for recycled aggregate concrete. It has been found that the stress-strain relationship obtained from the proposed model is in a good agreement with the results obtained from the experimental studies. © 2019, TUBITAK.
