    AFETE HAZIRLIK: KONTROL ODAĞI VE GENEL AFET HAZIRLIK İNANIŞI İLİŞKİSİ ÜZERİNE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

    Afetler fiziksel, ekonomik ve sosyal kayıplar doğuran, yaşamı durduran ya\rda kesintiye uğratan, insanların baş etme kapasitesinin sınırlı olduğu doğa veya\rinsan kaynaklı olaylar olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Afetlerle mücadeleye önemli\rmiktarlarda kaynak ayrılmasına rağmen afetlere hazırlık düzeyi yetersiz kalmaktadır.\rBu nokta, afetlere hazırlıklı olma durumunu afet yönetim süreçlerinin en kritik\rbileşenlerinden biri haline getirmektedir. Bu çalışma, bireylerin afetlere hazırlıklı\rolmaları ve önlem alabilmeleri bağlamında kontrol odağı kavramını merkeze\ralmaktadır. Araştırmada katılımcıların sosyo-demografik özellikleri ve Rotter’in İçDış Kontrol Odağı Ölçeğine göre kontrol odağı belirlenerek bunların Genel Afet\rHazırlık İnanç Ölçeğinin altı boyutu ile ilişkileri analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular, eğitim,\ryaş, meslek grubu ve meslek deneyiminin afete hazırlık bağlamında anlamlı\rfarklılıklar sergilediğini göstermektedir. Regresyon analizi, iç kontrol odağının\rGenel Afet Hazırlık İnancı boyutları içinde algılanan engeller üzerinde negatif, öz\ryeterlik üzerinde pozitif bir etkide bulunduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.

    Ethical Climate: Exploring the Knowledge Base

    The ethical climate concept has emerged as an influential paradigm in the 1990s, following the study of business ethics centered on corporate scandals. Extensive studies and reviews have been fueled by thirty years of knowledge accumulation. However, few bibliometric studies are conducted, and none focus on the knowledge base.Using bibliometric analyses, this study aims to investigate knowledge base for ethical climate from 1988 to 2022.Authors, journals, and documents were initially examined in terms of production, citation, and co-citation analyses using an integrated thematic approach.Next, the conceptual patterns through co- occurrence analyses and the structure of international collaboration were investigated. Bibliometric analyses show that the rapidly growing body of literature in the 2000s has shifted its focus to areas like sales and marketing and, particularly, the nursing environment.The study provides readers with a roadmap and recommendations for further study.

    ETİK İKLİMİN BOYUTLARI VE TÜRLERİ: ETİK ALT İKLİMLERİN BELİRLENMESİ VE ÖRGÜTSEL BAĞLILIĞA ETKİLERİ

    Günümüz iş dünyasında yaşanan gelişmeler dikkate alındığında etik ikliminörgütsel bağlılık üzerindeki etkilerini incelemek oldukça önemlidir. Bu bakımdan çalışmanınamacı, Victor ve Cullen tarafından geliştirilen etik iklim tipolojisinin benzer örgütselyapılarda farklılaşmasını ve olası kümelerin bağımlı değişken olarak seçilen örgütsel bağlılıküzerinde etkisini incelemektir. Bu doğrultuda, özel bankalarda çalışan beyaz yakalıpersonelden anket yöntemiyle veri toplanmıştır. Araştırma bulguları, örneklemintipolojideki kuramsal ve deneysel farklılıklara ilişkin uluslararası ve ulusal yazınla uyumludört faktörlü bir yapı gösterdiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Dört faktörlü yapının farklılaşmasınıtespit etmek üzere kümeleme analizi uygulanmış ve bu yapıda iki farklı etik alt iklimkümesinin (profesyonel iklim, pragmatik iklim) varlığı tespit edilmiştir. Son olarak, etik altiklimlerin örgütsel bağlılık üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiş, profesyonel iklimin örgütselbağlılık üzerinde pozitif bir etkiye sahip olduğu, pragmatik iklimin ise örgütsel bağlılığıaçıklayamadığı ortaya konmuştur.

    Exploring the Current Practices and Future Directions in Project Management Education and Training

    In light of the transformative influence of technologies and innovative methodologies associated with the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the paradigm of project management is undergoing a profound shift, prompting a re-examination of Project Management Education and Training (PMET). The escalating demand for project management expertise, juxtaposed with a scarcity of suitably qualified professionals, has yielded an increase in instances of faltering or challenging projects, thereby underscoring the amplified significance of PMET. A comprehensive assessment of the ongoing evolution of project management education and training is vital to shaping the trajectory of future educational strategies. In this context, bibliometric analysis has emerged as a pivotal tool, offering structured means to systematically present the expansive literature on PMET. This approach provides a panoramic view of the domain's development, facilitating a more informed understanding of its current contours which is paramount for crafting effective educational strategies. Employing bibliometric analysis as its methodological backbone, this study endeavors to discern the existing landscape of project management education and training. For this purpose, a comprehensive analysis was conducted on a dataset comprising 435 documents related to PMET, spanning the years 1985 to August 2023. The results of this analysis indicate that PMET publications are predominantly situated within the context of engineering education. A prominent theme that emerges from the literature is the discernible requirement for novel and forward-thinking strategies in PMET development, with a pronounced emphasis on the cultivation of soft skills and the integration of contemporary training methodologies, including gamification and simulation. In simple terms, the way we manage projects is changing a lot, and this has made us rethink how we educate and train people in project management. There's a growing need for experts in project management, but not enough qualified professionals to meet this demand. Because of this, we see more projects facing difficulties or failing, which makes the training and education of project managers even more important. To understand how project management education and training are evolving, we're using a special analysis tool called bibliometrics. This tool helps us organize and study a lot of information about project management education and training. By doing this, we can get a better idea of how this field is developing, which is crucial for making our education strategies more effective. In this study, we looked at 435 documents related to project management education and training from 1985 to August 2023 to get a clear picture of what's going on in this area.

    Kurumsal Politik Davranış: İşletme, Devlet ve Piyasa İlişkileri Ekseninde Eleştirel Bir İnceleme

    Modern örgütlerin ortaya çıkışı ile özel ve kamusal aktörlerin rolleri arasında geçişlerin oluşması, bu aktörlerin yapı ve işlevlerinin incelenmesi konusunda karmaşık bir tablo yaratmaktadır. Kurumsal politik davranış, kamusal ve özel çıkarların karşılıklı bağımlılığı içinde, işletmenin kamu politikası süreçlerini kendi lehine etkilemesi olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Stratejik yönetim düşüncesinin geleneksel olarak etkinliği odağa alan yaklaşımıyla uyumlu olarak kurumsal politik davranış yazını da devlet etkinliğinin işletme üzerindeki etkilerine odaklanarak işletmeyi politik bir aktör olarak tanımlamış, politika çevresindeki süreç ve aktörleri de politik piyasa tasarımı çerçevesinde anlamaya çalışmıştır. Bnunla birlikte, kamu kesimi ile özel kesim arasındaki sınırın yapay olduğu; bu yapay sınırın politik kararlar söz konusu olduğunda bireyler ve kurumlar tarafından aşıldığı ögz önüne alındığında, bu kurgunun gözden geçirilmesi gerektiği ortaya çıkmaktadır Bu çalışmada, klasik kurumsal politik davanış varsayımlarının tartışmalı sonuçları ışığında devlet-işletme ilişkisi incelenmekte, bu alanda ortaya konan araştırma birikimi politika-strateji bağlamı içinde daraltılarak geleneksel strateji yaklaşımı değerlendirilmektedir. Yine, iktisadi etkinlik odağının sorun alanları ve bu alanların sorgulanmasına yönelik kuramsal katkılar da eleştirel bir perspektifle değerlendirilmekte, ileride yapılacak çalışmalar için öneriler geliştirilmektedir.

    Mapping The Nexus of Corruption and Business Ethics: A Bibliometric Study

    Business ethics and corruption are closely related aspects of the social and corporate environment that are regularly monitored by the international community. Corruption has several harmful repercussions for individuals, organizations, and societies. Even while organizations are fighting corruption with increasing intensity, it cannot be eliminated. This scenario has drawn scholars from numerous disciplines to this subject. In accordance with the significance of the field, there are numerous established research projects and reviews in the field, but no bibliometric study has yet been conducted at the intersection of corruption and business ethics. Our study fills this gap and makes a direct contribution to the field by examining 990 articles from the Web of Science core collection published between 1980 and 2022. Using citation, co-words, and co-citation analyses, we aim to illustrate the conceptual, intellectual, and social structure of the field. The findings of the study may be helpful to scholars since this show both the current performance of authors, documents, and journals, as well as the progression of themes.

    Phenomenological Insights into Entrepreneurial Failure Cases in Türkiye

    The concept of entrepreneurial failure holds global significance, providing valuable insights into entrepreneurship’s multifaceted challenges and consequences. This issue is similarly essential for Türkiye, whose self-employment rate is falling rapidly. This study explores the micro-level impact of entrepreneurial failure on entrepreneurs, employing interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) with a sample of six Turkish participants who have experienced failure in their entrepreneurial pursuits. The study’s findings reveal unique patterns within social contexts; notable differences emerge between immediate and broader social settings. Moreover, this yields implications in the aftermath of failure and learning. This study provides insights into understanding entrepreneurial failure as an experience by emphasizing the importance of specific social dynamics and relationships in the failure process.

    Variations on Crisis Leadership in Business and Public Administration: A Bibliometric Analysis

    Crises are disruptive events that represent a threat to the existence of organizations, making the study of leadership a core component of crisis management. Crisis leadership focuses on preparing organizations for and surviving crises, as well as leading thereafter. This comprehensive framework has led to several disciplines addressing crisis leadership. While there is a substantial body of literature on crisis leadership, there is a lack of bibliometric research that compares and contrasts the conceptual characteristics and intellectual patterns of the two most essential management disciplines, business and public administration. To address this gap, bibliometric methods were applied to assess the academic performance and trends, to disclose the variations in intellectual patterns, and to identify the conceptual roots of both domains. In addition to the descriptive study of performance metrics, the analytical results reveal that conceptual foundations vary considerably and are intellectually reflected by variations. The research offers readers with a road map and implications for future research.
