    On a type-2 fuzzy approach to solution of second-order initial value problem

    In this paper, we have proposed a new representation of the triangular type-2 fuzzy numbers called the perfect triangular type-2 fuzzy numbers and defined their level sets by the (?, ?) -cut representation. With respect to this (?, ?) -cut representation, we have defined the algebraic operations for perfect triangular type-2 fuzzy numbers by using interval arithmetics. And then, we have proposed a method to find the solutions for second-order initial value problems with perfect triangular type-2 fuzzy initial conditions and forcing coefficients based on the Zadeh’s extension principle. Finally, we have used the proposed method for the mechanical vibration and RLC circuit models with perfect triangular type-2 fuzzy numbers. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature.

    On intuitionistic fuzzy version of Zadeh’s extension principle

    In this paper, by using ?-and ?-cuts approach and the intuitionistic fuzzy Zadeh’s extension principle, we have proved a result which reveals that the ?-and ?-cuts of an intuitionistic fuzzy number obtained by the intuitionistic fuzzy Zadeh’s extension principle coincide with the images of the ?-and ?-cuts by the crisp function. Then we have given a corollary about monotonicity of the extension principle.     Some Results on the Oscillatory Behavior of Integro-differential Equations

    In this paper, we investigate the oscillation of a class of generalized proportional fractional integro-differential equations with forcing term. We present sufficient conditions to prove some oscillation criteria in both of the Riemann-Liouville and Caputo cases. Besides, we present some numerical examples for applicability of our results.
