A radio-frequency-quadrupole accelerator operating at 352.21 MHz is designed by using Computer Simulation Technology Microwaves Studio Suite. In the first step of the study, the RF properties of the Cold-Model cavity such as quality factor, resonant frequency and dissipated power are obtained and geometrical parameters are optimized using the same software.
