Göç, insanlığın başlangıcından beri var olan bir olgudur. Ancak düzenli olmayan ve yasadışı göç, tüm toplumların temel sosyal sorunlarındadır. Türkiye'de gerçekleşen iç göçün belirleyicisi olarak eğitim düzeyi, istihdam oranı, üretim artışı ve terör olaylarının alındığı çalışmamızda, TÜİK alt bölge sınıflandırmasına göre oluşturulmuş, 21 bölge için panel regresyon analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri seti için en uygun modelin tesadüfi etkiler modeli olduğu bulunmuştur. Beck-Katz panel düzeltilmiş standart hataların kullanıldığı modelin tahmin sonuçlarına göre ortaokul düzeyindeki okullaşma oranındaki artış göçü artırırken, istihdam artışı göçü azaltmaktadır. Terör olaylarındaki artış da yine göçe sebep olan önemli bir değişken olarak bulunmuştur.
Migration is a phenomenon which has existed since the beginning of mankind. However irregular migration is the basic social problem of the whole society. In this study that the level of education, employment, production and terrorism variables are discussed as determining factors investigating the causes of migration took place in Turkey. The economic, social, cultural and geographical aspects of certain provinces of similar population size grouping formed by considering the sub-region 21 of panel data set was used. Random effects model was used in accordance with model our data set in panel data regression analysis. According to the findings, while employment increase has slowed down the migration a one level, increase in schooling at secondary level significantly increases the migration. Additionally, the increase in terrorist incidents were also still an important variable that cause migration.
